The SecureConnect File Integrity Monitoring solution finds and eliminates data risk and minimizes the chances of a security breach.
What types of files should be monitored?
Critical operating systems and payment application files should be monitored regularly. Although these files change infrequently, they pose a serious risk if compromised and could result in data loss or unauthorized access to cardholder data.

- Evaluate critical files on a weekly basis and alert customer of any unauthorized changes to system files
- Automatic updates – no additional management needed by the customer
- Automated comparison for integrity and security
- Detects all changes to files being monitored and records every change that occurs and retains it in the audit logs
- Alerts are automatically sent via email and are visible in the mySecureConnect portal.
- As required by the PCI DSS requirement 10.3 (10.3.1 – 10.3.6)
- Audit logs are retained for 1 year and available online for 90 days through the mySecureConnect portal
- Logs are retained in a secure manner and cannot be altered
